Liebster Award x 2

So it turns out that I've been nominated for not one, but two more Liebster Blog Awards.  I have been so busy that I am just now completing my post regarding this little matter. Do you lose your Liebster award due to untimeliness?

Soooo....here are 11 Things About Me:
 

1. I am a republican but not the democrat-hating kind.
2. I don't do mornings
3. I grew up in Tennessee.
4. I like the fancy stuff in life!  Glitter, sparkles, fringe and sequins....yes please.
5. I like to bargain shop.
6. I like thrift shopping, antique shopping and yard saling
7. I like big hair, pearls, leopard print and pageant ponytails
8. I don't swim in the ocean
9. I love to cook 
10. I don't like to clean or do yard work.   

11. I despise cold weather.   

 

Here  are my answers from Amanda at Life Since You!

1. What is your guilty pleasure? Gossip Magazines, Reality TV, Food Mart Burritos? I wanna know!  
Pretty Little Liars and Hart of Dixie.  And The Bachelor.  And The Bachelorette.  

2. If you could look like anyone, famous or not, who would it be? Why?  Ummm....I will have to say Jennifer Aniston.  Come on.  Let's all be honest.  

3. Do you have any recurring dreams or nightmares? How long have you been having them?  Sometimes I have nightmares or weird dreams but not very often.

4. If you had to describe your favorite color to a blind person, what would you say?  In my opinion there is no way to describe color to someone who is completely blind.  How?

5. When you were in high school, how did you picture your adult life? Did you always want to be doing whatever you are now? Did any of your plans/dreams become reality?  Yes, I am doing what I always dreamed/thought I would be doing.  Give or take a little on the details.

6. If you could have any super-power, what would it be? Would you fly? Have super strength? XRay Vision?  I think it would be fun to fly, but I am afraid of heights.  What about the super-power of being able to eat anything I want and never get fat?  Does that one count?  If so, then I pick that.

7. You just won 100 million dollars. What do you do with it?  Buy a big huge house.  Buy my family alot of stuff.  Pay for HPK's college, car and life.  Then travel the world with my Huney.  Of course give alot to church and charity.  Definitely do alot of shopping for fancy stuff, because I love to shop.

8. If you had to eat the same meal every day, for the rest of your life, what would it be?  Buffalo Wild Wings Carribean Jerk Wings, with Buffalo Chips and plenty of ranch dressing....and throw some celery in so I get my veggies ;)

9. Do you remember your first kiss? Tell me about it.
Uggghh....No comment.

10. If you could change one event from your past, what would it be? Would you go on that date? Stop at that red light? Take back something you said?  There's so much I would take back.  I couldn't pick just one thing.  I would want to pick years of things.  But you can't change the past!

11. Are you an animal lover? Do you have any pets, or do you want any?  
I don't have any pets.  I like animals fine.  I think most dogs stink, shed and have bad breathe.  Cats claw everything and destroy furniture.  There are a couple of breeds of dogs that I might consider owning, but most pets are just too gross for me.  I think a fish might be my best choice.

1. What is your favorite thing about the holidays?  I love pretty much anything and everything that has to do with Christmas.  Christmas movies, decorating the tree, baking, wrapping presents....love it all!
2. Name a song that makes you crank up the volume when you hear it.  Anything by Luke Bryan.  He's my absolute fave right now.  I go through phases.  This is my Luke Bryan phase ;) 
3. Do you prefer coffee or tea?-- I like both.  But I HAVE to have my coffee everyday.  And I like it strong.  Very strong.
4. What do you do to clear your mind?  go for a long power walk or watch a "happy movie"
5. Name your dream vacation and why.--Oh man, this is a hard one!  There are so many places that I would love to travel.  I am going to say a long vacation to Hawaii.  I have never been there and I would love to explore all of the beautiful places there!
6. What was an embarrassing moment in your life?--Oh no.  There are so so many.  Most of them I have blocked from my memory.  I have done so, so many embarrassing things due to bad decisions.  OMG.  You have no idea!  Ok, I'll pick just one:  .....let's just say that one time when I fell off of a tall bar stool in a crowded bar and landed on on the ground.  Hard.  People thought I was seriously injured.  No joke. 
7. What is your greatest achievement, so far?-- Well I'm sure that I may have achieved greater things than this....BUT I think the fact that went through a sort of difficult time in my life a few years back.  I was very unsure of my future and pretty unhappy with my situation....BUT I survived!  I moved on with my life and  I came out stronger and A LOT wiser.  I am now happily married and raising an amazing little boy and things finally seem to "click" for me! 
8. Do you prefer cooking or baking?--  I like both.  I probably like cooking just a little bit more than baking.
9. What is your number one goal for the new year?  Lose weight and get healthy.  Duh.
10. Favorite season? Why?  Fall. I love the weather, the leaves, the smell.
11. Have you made a bucket list? What is or would be on it?--Why, yes I do have a bucket list.  You can check out my Bucket List For 2013 HERE!
