Lately I feel like I've just been hangin' around. You know, being kind of lazy, watching Pretty Little Liars and Hart of Dixie on Netflix and eating and reading weight loss books (great combo.) I'm in a rut. I need to get back to the gym and lose some dang weight. What else is new.
In all actuality I spent the whole month of December decorating for Christmas, traveling to visit family, cooking, traveling back home to host family at our house, more cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, washing more dishes, doing laundry, taking care of a toddler..... BUT somehow I still feel like I've been more lazy than usual AND my clothes are a bit more snug (ugggh)....probably a result of holiday binge eating AND a little bit of Winter laziness that comes with the cold weather.
So, I've got to get BACK ON TRACK!
What do you do for exercise in the Winter? How do you recover from the Holiday Eating Hangover??
P.S. Do you love Hart of Dixie or what?!?

We've been on a sugar coma here too- We hit the YMCA a couple days a week the past month, back to our regular 4-5 days a week now- It was good to get back at it today!

ReplyDeleteI definitely struggle when it's dark and cold all the time. The best thing to do is just not stop because that makes it harder to get your routine back. Keep at it, and if you start now, you'll get a jump on those January 2nd gym-goers.

Yes, even though I stay at home, this holiday season has really gotten me in a rut. Must.Get.Back.To.My.Disciplined.Life...I mean, sleeping in until 10 every morning while our son is on Christmas break...IKR. Anyway, hope you had an awesome Christmas...have a blessed weekend. ;-)
